CTX - GALVESTON -- June 29, 2059 (HNS) A military and relief expedition led by Colonel Zechariah Quentin Davenport, Jr. of Jeffersonia traveled via Direct Gate to Galveston with several tons of supplies to support the Texas war effort against invasion from the Sovereign State of New Orleans. The group met with Mrs. Celeste Price and Secretary of War Hamilton P. Bee to discuss the state of military efforts and then toured Galveston’s defenses, including earthworks and artillery. Confederate Texas sources confirmed that many plan to stay and help with the defense of Galveston and in other military and relief efforts.
Other dignitaries included: President Lance Deschene of the Mid Western States, Secretary of Interior Jeremiah Jones of the Mid Western States, Ambassador Honey-AAAA9993, aka "Ambassador Aye" of the Hive, Dr. Samuel Buckman of Empire of New York, President Ambrose Hall of the Provisional Government of the Republic of New Orleans and a small contingent from the Empire of the Rising Sun.
