Army Of Texas Routed South Of San Antonio

E-mail Print PDF

Galveston, CTX (HNS) A combined Texas force of infantry, artillery and cavalry positioned to block the invading force from the Sovereign State of New Orleans from moving to San Antonio was broken and routed by overwhelming supernatural forces.  Surviving witnesses spoke of horrific nightmares and despair in the days prior to the primary attack as well as werewolves, bestial men capable of horrible atrocities and freezing men with terror and large scale weapons failures.  Casualties are estimated to be at least 50% with towns between the loss and San Antonio potentially already lost.

Texas forces formed a military line forty miles south of San Antonio with some improvised fortifications including brick dust.  They were two days in advance of the army coming from Corpus Christi and prepared for a difficult fight.  All preparations appear to have been proper and effective for a Civil War era force.  From the first night of encampment, nightmares began among many of the men.  Chaplains traveling with the force did their best to help with limited results.  The nightmares and nighttime raids by vampires and werewolves affected morale but the Texas men stood Saturday morning ready to fight.  It was ultimately the attack on the line by bestial men now believed to be a Texas manifestation of V ghouls, werewolves and weapons failures that broke the force.  Once broken, many of those in rout were killed by ghouls and werewolves.  The werewolves appear to have been guided by men from a military unit called Ishtar’s own using some form of dog whistles and other coercion.

JET reports indicate that three survivors of the attack managed to arrive at the JET Team A deployment while being pursued by enemy forces.  The gate used remained open after John Grayer threw the emergency Power Diversion switch and additional attackers came through as the gate cycled.  JET Team A members fought and repelled the attack with the assistance of a “Ragged Rider” known in Texas for fighting the forces of Apophis.  Cameras and recording systems quote him as saying the following:  “Avaunt ye Hellspawn or be destroyed in the name of the Lord.  Sons of Adam and Daughters of Eve, I am Ragwell, Vengeance of Yahweh and Protector of Man known to Texas as the Ragged Rider.  I shall drive Hell from Texas and purge the crimes of Jackalope!”  Reports indicate the rider carried a Winchester rifle of a higher Penn State Tech Level than supported by Confederate Texas and returned there to continue his fight.  The meaning of his statements are unclear but reports indicate that this individual appears to be successfully pursuing a one man guerilla war against invading forces.

Two of the survivors, Mrs. Celeste Price and Sergeant Major Bartholomew Masters were taken to ENY for medical treatment and cannot be reached for comment however doctors stated that they expected both patients to fully recover.  A third man, Corporal James Sparks, died of his wounds.  JET sources stated that both Texans would be Direct Gated to Galveston from Penn State after they have recovered using a combination of JET and ENY funds.
