PARIS, FRENCH REPUBLIC, November 6 (HNS)-- A several-day conference on sea routes started today in the French Republic. An unprecedented number of nations have attended, including the Nezavisna Država Hrvatska (Independent State of Croatia), as well as more expected states like Penn State, the Empire of New York, the French Empire, Rising Sun, and Jeffersonia. Even the land-locked Hive attended.
This conference, the brainchild of President Ambrose Hall of New Orleans government-in-exile, is intended to increase trade by allowing nations to swap information on sea routes that allow one to navigate the shattered post-Event world.
Sea travel is the most economical mode of shipping in the shattered world, and is a source of wealth for the lower-tech powers that have the sailing vessels that work in most parts of the post-Event seas.
