Controversy over V Vaccine

E-mail Print PDF
Penn State –STATE COLLEGE (Collegian Staff), November 10

A vaccine, developed primarily with the support and assistance of the Empire of New York through Dr. Julia Johnston, has been developed for the disease known as V.  A bit of a misnomer, V actually refers to a condition that comes from the drinking of vampire blood or vampire blood prepared in specific ways.  The vaccine has been manufactured such that it is effective down to Tech Level 1.

Controversy over the vaccine centers around the fact that it used a combination of magical and scientific means in its creation, that there is the risk of vampiric infection (largely debunked) and confusion over the effect of the vaccine on magically resistant humans.  Fundamentalist religious groups in particular seem agitated by the concept as is the New Catholic Church of Boston.

JET sources indicate that JET personnel will soon be given the vaccine.
